Control Panel
The Calendar control panel area allows you view and manage events, calendars, preferences, etc.
Events
This page displays an intuitive interface in that is viewable by days, weeks, months (default). It allows you an easier way to find events, or help troubleshoot if events are not displaying correctly on front end templates.
Calendars
This area will display a list of all existing calendars. You can update or remove existing ones, as well as create new ones here. WARNING: Removing calendar(s) will also permanently remove ALL associated event channel entries! For now, if you wish to remove a calendar but have associated events changed to another calendar, you'll need to edit each one manually and switch the calendar before deleting.
Calendars allow you to set the following data for each one:
- Name
- Short name - auto-generated from Name field
- Description
- Color - enter Hex or choose from picker (Calendar also automatically internally generates a lighter version of this color for use in front end templates)
- Allowed Member Groups - which member groups can add events to this calendar (Super Admins always have access)
