Form Builder
Default form settings, field properties, and builder preview options. Open Freeform → Settings → Form Builder to configure these options.
This settings page is read-only when Craft's allowAdminChanges setting is false.
Defaults apply when creating forms and fields. Locked values cannot be changed by form authors.
Builder Defaults
Live Render HTML Markup
Render HTML in field labels, option labels, and HTML blocks in the builder preview. Disable this if your markup interferes with the builder interface.
Allow Twig to be enabled in HTML blocks
Show the option to enable Twig in HTML block fields.
Render HTML block Twig in Isolated Mode
Limit HTML block Twig to Freeform's form and fields variables. Disable isolation to make Craft's variables available as well.
Include Freeform's Sample Formatting Templates
Include Freeform's sample formatting templates among the choices offered in the form builder.
Rich Text Field Toolbar ConfigurationProNew in 5.10.14+
Choose which native TinyMCE controls appear in the Rich Text field toolbar and their order. Separate toolbar groups with |.
Form & Field Defaults
Form Builder Notifications tabNew in 5.0+
Choose default templates for each notification type. Lock a value when it should not be changed by form authors.
Form Builder Settings tabNew in 5.0+
Choose initial values for form settings, such as the submission title and default status. Values can also be locked for form authors.
Field PropertiesNew in 5.13+
Choose initial property values for each field type and optionally lock them.
